Bargteheide – NORD offers new solutions for the growing number of drive system users who are choosing Ethernet-based fieldbus connections for automation tasks. The option to operate, configure and diagnose frequency inverters via an Ethernet gateway and the proven NORDCON software has already been tried and tested. Additionally, a PROFINET interface module is currently being developed. EtherNet/IP, POWERLINK and EtherCAT technology boxes will follow. NORD Drivesystems, a full-line supplier for drive technology, offers the NORDAC SK 5xxE and SK 700E inverter series which cover the complete spectrum of standard, enclosure-mounted intelligent frequency inverters. Interface kits will remain available for all standard fieldbuses (e.g. Profibus, CANopen, Interbus, AS-Interface and DeviceNet), thereby ensuring seamless integration of SK 5xxE or SK 700E units into existing automation environments. Allowing for smooth retrofits and upgrades, the modular units can be easily adapted to individual applications: internal I/O and fieldbus modules and external plug-in technology boxes allow users to configure and extend the inverters as required.
