NORD DRIVESYSTEMS offers correctly dimensioned drive solutions from a single source for different types of cranes and load ranges – directly on site in more than 80 countries. We enable individual system solutions with power, weight, size, and service life optimally tailored to your application. Our MAXXDRIVE® industrial gear units cover a widetorque range of up to 282,000 Nm.

We have extended our range especially for the design of lifting gear, and now offer MAXXDRIVE® XDin new sizes.

Reliable overhead cranes with NORD industrial gear units

The Polish lifting system specialist PROTEA relies on drive concepts from NORD. Its overhead cranes are powered by MAXXDRIVE®. The lifting gear utilises the robust MAXXDRIVE® XD with a motor power of 18.5 kW. The drives for crane and trolley are based on MAXXDRIVE® - industrial gear units with powers of 0.55 and 11 kW. PROTEA appreciates the long service life and low maintenance requirements of NORD drive units.

The one-piece UNICASE housing guarantees high durability and low maintenance costs. Double seals ensure smooth operation without leakage.
