The NORDAC ON optimally covers all requirements in horizontal conveyor technology and is equipped for integration into modern automation systems. In concrete terms this means: reliable operation, high economic efficiency, integrated Ethernet interface, full pluggability, very compact design, digital inputs for integration of local sensors, corrosion protection and functional safety.
The Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) focuses on use of the internet in industrial processes and procedures. Operating values of the drive and sensor data can be pre-processed by the inverter’s integrated PLC and made available via Industrial Ethernet for further processing for condition monitoring. This data is the basis for predictive maintenance concepts for proactive maintenance of the drive systems.
Our frequency inverters are highly-efficient and have an energy-saving function for partial load range. You will achieve the highest energy savings by combining the NORDAC ON+ with our IE5+ synchronous motor. Thanks to permanent magnet synchronous motor technology (PMSM), it achieves an efficiency of up to 95 percent – and this is relatively constant over a wide speed and torque range. The IE5+ motor thus provides an optimal energy consumption performance in partial load and partial speed ranges and even tops the highest defined energy efficiency class IE5.
The flexible Ethernet interface allows the setting of different communication protocols such as ProfiNET, EtherNET IP and EtherCAT via parameters. An additional Ethernet module is not required. This also makes service and maintenance easier for you. Firmware updates can be implemented via Ethernet.
All connections – 400 V, 24 V and Ethernet – are realised with the NORDAC ON PURE via a single cable. This makes the inverter more robust, less vulnerable and easier to clean. Wiring is also quicker. Daisy chaining is possible.
Yes. All frequency inverters in the series – NORDAC ON, NORDAC ON+ and NORDAC ON PURE – have a temperature tolerance range of -30 °C to +40 °C and are therefore also suitable for deep-freeze applications.
