System Modernization Could Look Like:

  • Switching to asynchronous motors with a higher efficiency class (e.g. IE3)
  • Switching to high-efficiency synchronous motors (IE5+) in combination with a latest-generation variable frequency drive
  • Installation of additional sensor technology (condition monitoring) for drive monitoring
  • Retrofitting a variable frequency drive
  • Replacing the existing variable frequency drive with a drive that has additional functions (e.g. network connection, remote maintenance)
