NORD DRIVESYSTEMS will present its wide range of innovative drives at ACHEMA, the world’s leading trade fair for the process industry, from 10 to 14 June 2024 in Frankfurt am Main.

Highly innovative mechanical and electronic drive solutions from a single source – this is what NORD stands for. As a system supplier, the manufacturer offers matched drive systems consisting of gear unit, motor and drive electronics that are tailored to the respective requirements of the industry and customer application.

Trade fair presentation highlights:

• Explosion-protected drives : Being an expert in the field of explosion-protected drive technology, NORD offers a wide product range as ATEX versions.

• MAXXDRIVE® industrial gear units : These high-performance gear units move large masses with a high power density and reliability in heavy-duty applications such as agitators, mixers and grinders in food or cosmetics production.

• SAFOMI-IEC adapter: For mixer and agitator applications, the industrial gear units can also be equipped with a compact SAFOMI-IEC adapter that features an integrated oil expansion volume.

Drive solutions from a single source

In addition to the ATEX drives and MAXXDRIVE® industrial gear units, NORD will present its wide range including decentralised drive electronics and energy-efficient IE5+ synchronous motors at ACHEMA. The NORDAC ON frequency inverters are part of the NORD modular system and can be optimally combined with the manufacturer’s motors. The NORDAC ON frequency inverters are designed for applications with the NORD asynchronous motors while the NORDAC ON+ frequency inverters are optimised for combination with the high-efficiency IE5+ synchronous motor.
