Agitating and mixing are important processes in process engineering requiring tailor-made drives. With the robust MAXXDRIVE® industrial gear units and the SAFOMI-IEC adapters, NORD DRIVESYSTEMS offers the powerful drive systems that are required for these processes. Each agitator and mixing drive is precisely tailored to the respective requirements of the customer application.

With the MAXXDRIVE® industrial gear units, available in eleven sizes for rated torques from 15,000 to 282,000 Nm and with the SAFOMI IEC adapters, NORD offers highly efficient solutions for mixer and agitator applications. The robust drives are individually adapted to the heavy-duty requirements of the respective application. Depending on the requirements, parallel gear units or right-angle gear units are used. The gear units are constructed with the UNICASE housing which was developed by NORD and can accommodate large roller bearings, which guarantee a long service life.
